Pantelleria, task force di vigili soccorre la popolazione dopo la tromba d'aria. Sette dimessi
Nella notte una squadra di vigili del fuoco è stata trasportata con un elicottero dell’aeronautica militare a Pantelleria per soccorrere la popolazione dopo che ieri pomeriggio una tromba d’aria si è abbattuta sull'isola. La squadra dei vigili del fuoco, partita dall’aeroporto di Trapani, è composta da 3 vigili del nucleo Saf (speleo-alpino-fluviale), 2 del progetto Usar (Urban Search and Rescue) e uno specializzato nella ricerca di persone scomparse.
Dei nove feriti rimasti coinvolti nella tromba d’aria di ieri a Pantelleria solo uno di questi verrà trasferito a Palermo e portato all’ospedale civico o a Villa Sofia per una frattura vertebrale. Un altro rimarrà ricoverato all’ospedale dell’isola Bernardo Nagar con una serie di fratture alla gabbia toracica. Gli altri sette sono stati curati e già dimessi. Questa mattina i vigili del fuoco e la protezione civile continueranno i sopralluoghi nella vasta area in contrada Campobello colpita dalla tromba d’aria. «Verranno utilizzati anche i droni - spiegano dalla protezione civile regionale - per cercare eventuali dispersi visto che nell’isola ci sono tanti turisti». Le ricerche sono andate avanti tutta la notte. "Verranno utilizzati tutti mezzi per perlustrare l’area investita ieri dalla tromba d’aria - dice il sindaco di Pantelleria Vincenzo Campo - ma al momento non ci sarebbero segnalazioni di dispersi».
